SUITE Magazine Front Desk

From the desk of...Tamara McHatton

It's a brand new month here at SUITE and we're so excited! November is the one-year anniversary of SUITE Magazine and we're bringing all the previous Knights back to you one more time! So needless to say the office is all abuzz with anticipation. But fear not…we have a great October issue for you.

Oh! Don't forget about our newsletter. If you'd like to be put on our mailing list then click here. This is the place to find out lots of fun and interesting things about SUITE, read great humorous stories, and see what's happening with all of our models.

Now, on to the good stuff <rubbing hands together>. We have an article on Superstitions and how they've come about...it's amazing that some of them have lasted so long or been followed so faithfully. And for all you kilt lovers out there (think Sean Connery, Mel Gibson, Liam Neeson), Kim Kerr brings us an article on Men in Kilts along with some great pictures. Evan Scott gives us the scoop on Home Businesses and Andrew Miller has Part II of Women and Self Defense.

The tragic story of New Orleans has been in the hearts and the minds of everyone here at SUITE and we encourage all to donate to the American Red Cross, even as Hurricane Rita bears down on Texas. Out of this tragedy many heroes stand out, but none as much as New Orleans resident, Harry Connick Jr . Check out what he's doing to help in our Brief Interludes column. In our Interview column SUITE brings you a real live NASA scientist. What a treat it was interviewing this lady! We're trying to coax her to do an article on the glass ceiling and if it's still around.

We have an excerpt from Venus Press by Bryn Colvin called Illyan Daughter in our Heat Between the Sheets section, and a great Book Excerpt from Eden Bradley...Heat Wave by Phaze publishing.

Our resident culinary expert, Alex Gonser, takes us on a trek with An Ode to Pumpkins in the Kitchen section…just in time for Halloween and Thanksgiving. He invites you to email him with any comments or suggestions for future articles. Karen Hudgins does it again in the Gardens with her tribute to the Daisy...raise your hand if you've done the “He loves me, he loves me not” routine with this beautiful flower. Cindy Walker is recovering nicely from her non-invasive surgery for the removal of her varicose veins and she brings us up to date on her Brand New Me results at The Gym. SUITE 's Indulgence area wouldn't be complete without our very own McGyver and this month he teaches us All About Knots.

And JJ Giles...I can't say enough good things about this amazing writer. She brings us an article that gives a whole new meaning to cybersex with her Pandora's Toybox column, The Sinulator. Even the name sounds deliciously wicked! Barb Webb lets us in on the naughty side of fantasy role-playing with her Sensations column, The Look of Love, utilizing provocative costumes found on the web.

Marilyn Puett, usually a feature writer for SUITE, has ventured into new territory. This month she astounds us in the 13 th Floor with a tale from the Carolinas...Brown Mountain Lights. If you've ever scoffed at the unexplained you might want to read this one...she's actually seen these mysterious lights for herself! Patti Rebmann, SUITE 's own Senior Editor, recently jetted out to Las Vegas. She takes us on a journey through some of the casinos and shows in Port O' Call.

Okay, so he's not the biggest SUITE Knight we've had...he's certainly not the most gorgeous, but he definitely ranks at the top when it comes to cuteness. His “awwwww” factor skyrockets. He's none other than...the SUITE Kitty, having premiered with Sly Bowden in our January issue. We figured he would be a fitting cover since he was born October 31st. You've got to check out his interview with Jewell Mason...it's hilarious. To round out SUITE 's pictorials we have James Blake as the One Knighter, Chris Meloni aka Det. Elliot Stabler in the Rogues Gallery, and gorgeous Brazilian model, Bruno Santos, in the VIP Suite.

Until next time I'll be...
