RJ: Hi Ruby and Welcome!  First, can you let us know what projects you are currently working on?
Ruby: I just contracted another book with Ellora's Cave entitled Winter's Rose. Do you all remember the Diamond Studs anthology? Well, I've gotten together with my two buddies, Ruth D. Kerce and Diana Hunter, to continue the series anthology and we're calling it Winter Studs. Three BDSM stories that are sure to warm a winter's night! Also, I'm just finishing up my own personal anthology with three very diverse ménage stories. Plus, I'm also nearing the end of a story called Mr. Fullservice, a contemporary. Yes, in case you're wondering, I've always got one or two stories going at the same time. Can't shut down this mind of mine!

RJ: What does your writing schedule look like? Do you write as it flows or do you have specified times set aside?
Ruby: I'm on the computer every morning by 7:00am. Before I was home writing fulltime, my writing was hit and miss. As long as I could keep my body upright, LOL!, I would write, but there wasn't enough time in the day. You see, my husband and I own our own pizza restaurant. Between that and working another 40 hours a week as college administrative job, my body began to protest! Finally, I knew I had to give something up and writing seemed to be the only option. That is until I told my husband what I had planned. He sat me down and asked what I wanted to really do. Well, that was to write. J  Three days later I gave my two-week notice. Yup, I sucked in my breath and took the leap off the edge of the cliff. The rest is history! It looks like that safety net was there for me at the bottom! I've been home now for 11/2 years and never have regretted one second! So, some days you'll find me in my home office for 14-16 hours and loving every minute of it!!!

RJ: Do you do any research for your stories? What is the most interesting thing you have learned?
Ruby: I love writing historicals. I conduct a lot of research on the Internet. It's amazing how the world is at your fingertips. I also spend a lot of time in libraries when I get    more >>
