February 27, 2005 -- There is not much to update for this past week. It's just more of the same. I have discovered, however, that if I eat protein in the morning, it is a tremendous help in getting past that hunger hump I have around 10:30 each day. Since I don't eat pork, I try to make some turkey bacon before I head out in the morning, or I stop at a bagel place and get a sandwich which has eggs and turkey sausage on it. Yummy! It's very rare to find anyplace that serves turkey sausage, so I rather enjoy this particular sandwich. I think I need to start my own restaurant which serves alternative foods. Because let's face it - who's ordered a pizza lately and “turkey pepperoni” (which is great by the way) has been one of your topping choices along with whole wheat crust? In today's health conscious environment, it just may be worth thinking about. Anyway, I'm still trying to plug away, but I'm not feeling very successful. We'll see what the doctor has to say next week.
