SUITE Magazine Front Desk

From the desk of...Tamara McHatton

I'm here to let everyone know we survived the Romantic Times convention! The best way to describe this yearly event is to say it is excruciatingly fun. SUITE definitely made a hit with our Cover Models Volleyball tournament. Yes ladies, for those of you who weren't there...we had lots of hot and sweaty body digging in the dirt for the viewing pleasure of all our spectators! Our banner fluttered in the soft ocean breezes, prizes galore were given out (with many women getting lei'd by cover models), and the games were great! The pictures are still coming in, and once we get everything together, we'll be sure to post them in the magazine.

I was also in the Mr. Romance pageant as a pose-down model again this year, along with Jennie (the conventioneer who won that esteemed position during one of the parties), as well as Bryee and Jessica. And, as you'll see when reading our Main Feature #2, Evan proposed to me on stage during the Mr. Romance pageant. So it was a whirlwind of activity, and a lot of time spent on cloud nine! LOL

So enough of the trivial stuff (LOL)...now to the June issue of SUITE Magazine. Marilyn Puett talks about A Love Apple a Day, I recap Evan's proposal to me, Lynne Connolly gives us insight into the Vampire Legend and how she came up with her own lore for her books, and Diana Tierney does it again with a piece on The Sound of Silence. We have a Book Excerpt by Penelope Marzec, The Company You Keep, and it's absolutely terrific. I so want to get the book after reading it! And Judy Mays wows us with her Heat Between the Sheets piece, and excerpt from her sizzling book, Solstice Heat.

As always, The Kitchen Wenches, Jaden Sinclair and Kenna Fallon, heat up the stove in The Kitchen, Joanne Colby takes us to Martha's Vineyard in Port O' Call, Evan Scott tells us all about GFIs, and Karen Hudgins gives us the lore (with a story woven in) on Roses in The Gardens.

We've got Naughty Nibblings, Spooning a Day, and Your Inner Goddess, in Pandora's Toybox, This ‘N That, and Sensations, respectively, as well as a visit by Bigfoot on the 13th Floor. Many thanks to our column writers: Jenn Andrus, Doreen Orsini, Jen Bokal, and JJ Massa. Job well done ladies!

SUITE 's Knights this month couldn't be any more delicious. We've got the king of Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayze himself as our VIP, Rupert Friend in the Rogues Gallery, and *sigh* Matthew McConaughey as our One Knighter. Our very special SUITE Knight for June is none other than Steve Kader. He's been featured here before, when we did articles on the Chippendale dancers, and he's back again, in the spotlight. We felt this was only fitting since it's Steve 's birthday this month, and in a couple of weeks, SUITE will be sponsoring the Chips as they come back into town for another blowout performance. Here's wishing you the best Steve, from all of us here at SUITE!

That about wraps it up for this month...until next time I'll be...
