SUITE Magazine Front Desk

From the desk of...Tamara McHatton

What an absolutely exhausting and exhilarating month! Evan and I just returned from St. Louis and the Romantic Times Convention where I vamped it up with the cover model contestants, then I went on a weekend jaunt to Daytona Beach with Kathryn Falk and entourage to check out the site for the next RT, and two days later Evan and I traveled to Wiesbaden, Germany for the 3rd annual Book Lovers Conference. We met so many great people and I can definitely say SUITE was a resounding success! Especially our masseuse, Mary! She made more money in tips than we did selling T-shirts! And even though I was unable to “kill” Evan in our sword fighting demonstration, I think the crowd still got a kick out of our information and our antics! LOL

SUITE has just started a group for all our readers and fans (by popular demand) and it's the place to hang out and talk all about the magazine, as well as other fun stuff. You'll get a sneak peek at the material before it goes online, we'll have contests, polls, and we invite you to share your ideas of what you'd be interested in seeing in SUITE. Our first contest (ending June 30th) is this: when you join, put who referred you (email or name) in the why you want to join box. A SUITE t-shirt will be awarded to whichever member brings in the most referrals for the Yahoo Group. Take a moment to join SUITE Escape …we'd love to have you!

For this month we have The Darkness Within by Angelica Hart. Excellent book from the looks of the excerpt. Our Heat Between the Sheets is a very touching, very sensual story about a woman comforting a man when he needs it the most. Author Jamie Derian adapted it specifically for SUITE readers and she did an excellent job with it. I'm sure you'll be as pleased as we were. We also have that adorable angelic man, 1st runner up at the 2005 Romantic Times Mr. Romance pageant, Ryan Williams, as our SUITE Knight. And ladies…this one is a real life cowboy! He lives on a working farm, passed down through generations in his family. Check out his interview and find out what makes this man tick! Brian Schell is sports beautiful with smoldering eyes and a chiseled jaw. A soft-spoken man, you'd never guess his occupation to be that of a corrections officer. Rock hard on the outside, he's a softy at heart, and he's SUITE 's Rogue for the month of June.

I am so excited about this one! SUITE was able to get an exclusive interview with the stellar performer, National Holiday. Beautiful, sexy, and buxom, this lady will knock your socks off. Why you might ask? Because by day, National is a man! That's right ladies, a man. She, or should I say he, is a female illusionist, and we have the interview of the year! SUITE 's managing editor, Carla Arpin, always one to jump in when needed, gives us the scoop on Multi-tasking Foods, in our Kitchen section. Evan does it again by explaining, in simple terms we can all understand, how to fix that bane to us all, the toilet! Check out the Maintenance section for all the details.

Do not, and I repeat, do NOT forget to check out JJ Giles at Pandora's Toybox . She tells us all about those non-PC Muscles in her column. We also have Mimi Riser letting us in on a little Summer Fun over at This ‘N That , as well as our resident Vixen , Liz Delisi , answering a question on sexual spankings. One comment I'd like to insert here…ladies, this is the place to pose any question nagging at you about life, love, or leisure. This lady can handle it all. Names are left out so no need to fear…send any question to the Vixen, she'll answer them as only SUITE can do! Email the Vixen at: vixen@suitemag.com

Cindy Walker is doing such an excellent job in her quest for the “New Me”. I challenge each of you ladies to join her on this assignment; find yourself, your weaknesses, your strengths. Realize that there are lots of women just like you, struggling to feel good about themselves, whether it be a weight issue, a confidence issue, or just wanting to change some things in your life… SUITE 's Gym is the place to be.

Next month SUITE brings you a feature on Women and Heart Disease, a much ignored, yet very important issue affecting all of us in some way. We'll also be showcasing Cyndi Redding, with her book excerpt, Show Me the Bling, in the July issue. Something tells me we may be asked to get the cover model of this book as one of SUITE 's knights! SUITE is negotiating with Marc Patton, 2nd runner up at the 2005 Romantic Times Mr. Romance pageant, to be the SUITE Knight for July. Wish me luck ladies, as this guy was one of my favorites when I did the pose-downs on stage. So sultry, so hot, so…oh my!

So…another issue is out, and another in the works. This has been such a fun journey, such an exciting adventure. I only hope that SUITE fulfills all your dreams and all your wishes as it has done mine. I love my job and I love the new horizons out there for SUITE. We are already gearing up for our first anniversary issue and looking into the feasibility of going to print. We ask this one thing from you, our loyal subscribers…get the word out, let the world know about SUITE, tell everyone that SUITE is the place to be!
