Second Time Around

“Great view, huh?” Falcon asked and gave an inward wince. It was a lame thing to say, especially after the kiss they'd just shared, but he needed to get his raging hormones in check.
Jasmine's head tilted and the confusion on her face told him she was confused. Falcon knew he liked keeping her off balance and hid his smile by taking another drink.

She searched his gaze and spoke softly. “Now, he's a friend.”
Falcon tried, and failed, to tamp down the jealousy he felt. He knew he had no right to feel so possessive, they'd been broken up and separated for years. “How good a friend?”
“Are you jealous?” His silence answered her and she rolled her eyes. “We're pretty good friends. Adrien Montgomery, along with his twin brother, co-own and operate, one of New York's biggest and most successful construction companies.”      more >>
