The Other Side of Cirque du Soleil

Cirque du Soleil describes Zumanity as "the other side of Cirque du Soleil." More theater than circus, produced in a European cabaret style, this show departs from Cirque du Soleil's family image to focus on human sexuality. Expect to see nudity, both implied and actual, but used tastefully to celebrate the beauty of the human body. This is not for the light hearted or people who are not open minded.

The actors and actresses of Zumanity perform with such beauty and grace and the show is most tastefully done. This is not a pornographic show, but one that depicts sexuality in an unconventional way. There is Transexuality, a bit of BDSM, and gay situations.

Cirque du Soleil never disappoints the audience and you are in for a real treat. The music, color and acrobatics of the dance is nothing like you will ever see. The only difference here is that you will experience the exploration of human love, sensuality and erotism at its best.

The Ring Master does an excellent job of keeping your attention and making you feel comfortable. There is audience participation so you want to try and get seats near the stage as the preformers walk through you.

There are no sexual inhibitions once you enter the theater. This is a must see event while you are in Sin City.

It's a bold departure for an organization that's more identified with family entertainment, and the subject matter is approached from a unique and entertaining viewpoint.

In a world where people are afraid to explore the issues of sex, passion and even love, the latest show at Cirque Du Soleil takes on all of those issues and eloquently asks us to bring it out into the open.

Without embarrassing or offending the audience, the dancers, singers and acrobats of Zumanity make us all question how conservative or conventional we are when it comes to sex.

The show is at times shocking and at times comical. One of the most light-hearted moments is when several beautiful dancers are trying to attract a group of sports fanatical males by stripping in front of a television screen showing a football game.
