Rain, rain, go away. Or at least go south. SUITE hopes all you kittens and contributors in the northeast are doing okay with all that rain and flooding. If you can box it up and ship it down to Florida, we need it!
Many thanks to all of you who have sent in pictures, postings, and congrats on our engagement. Since we were both up on stage we didn't have any of our own but it will be different for our wedding ceremony...we've actually hired a photographer (Dena Bernhard who took the pictures of Steve Kader, the June SUITE Knight). I'm always amazed at the drive and determination Tamara has in putting together SUITE every month. With even more determination, she's putting together our wedding. And now, to get ready for our big day, she's writing about her experience as a Brand New Bride in The Gym. I don't know how she does it.
Ah…the thong. Some women can't figure out why you would wear one. Still, others have gone thong and would never go back. We've come a long way from “unmentionables” to the point of being fashionable by letting your thong peak out over your jeans. The thong even has it's own song. In Feature #1, Doreen Orsini tells us All About the Thong. Much like the thong, erotica has existed for quite a while in the shadows. It's amazing to think of the freedom to read what we do today then realize not long ago you could have been fined or arrested just for possessing erotica. Imprisoned for Love by Bronté Miller follows the history of how erotica came to the point it has today.
Are you a Blogger? Then you really need to read Barb Webb 's feature to find out what they really are an how they can work for you. Sleek and fast is the first thing that comes to mind when you mention the word, Cheetah. But do you really know this animal? Karen Hudgins does. She's a Docent at the St. Louis Zoo and tells us all about this magnificent animal. If you've never seen a Cirque du Soleil show in person, you don't know what you are missing. Their productions are amazing...but Patti Rebmann takes it a step further. She tells us about her experience at Zumanity in Las Vegas. This is “the other side of Cirque du Soliel” and is a show that tastefully celebrates the beauty of the human body and sexuality. Not for the prudish at heart!
Does your computer take forever to open up an Internet window? Does it seem to take a long time in saving and closing documents? Not many people realize computers need occasional maintenance to keep them in good running shape. In my DIY this month, I'll show you how to do a Tune Up On Your Computer and breath new life into it. The Kitchen Wenches, Jaden and Kenna, as always, bring us some delicious recipes, and Karen tells us all about the Orchids in The Gardens. Pamela Johnson features composer Andrew Llyod Webber, who has touched every corner of society with his music, in the Brief Interlude and we round out this area with an Interview of Dick Clark.
Our SUITE Knight is Rico Cherry. He has his sights set on making it on the big screen but he knows he has a long road ahead. Rico's exotic good looks are showcased by the creative photography of Thomas Oed. Maybe our Rogue is not known for acting ability, but Jean Claude Van Damme sure looks good doing it, according to the ladies I've talked to. Axl Rose is our VIP Knight. He's a bad boy and lead singer for Gun's and Roses.See you next month!
