OH GOOD GOD IN HEAVEN! I am SO embarrassed. Do you think I can achieve the “36-26-36” goal? I’m not sure if I can achieve that, but it sure would be nice. Maybe I’ll give it a shot.
Anyway, the best laid plans of mice and men always seem to go awry. I made an appointment to see my doctor and discuss this weight loss goal. I even had my list of questions ready to go. However, plans changed as they are moving their offices the week of my appointment. So, the anticipation of the results of my doctor’s visit must wait another month. I also don’t own a scale, so I was going to get my weight from the doctor. I apologize for not having an accurate stat on that. Alas…what shall I write about now? Hmm…
I have spent the last couple of weeks trying my hand at cooking. Yes, I know that sounds stupid. Here I am, a forty-six year old woman, and I’ve never really had to cook in my life. OK you say, you had a family – how did you not cook? Well, let me just say my mother-in-law lived with us, and she did almost all the cooking. It was nice, but it sure didn’t teach me anything. So, here I am beginning this adventure, and I have to learn how to cook as well. I look at this way – hopefully I don’t have any bad habits to try and break. But at the same time, I have to learn how to buy these wonderfully fresh fruits and vegetables. Anyone have any hints?
I must say with some things I am somewhat adventurous – especially when it comes to fruits. Sometimes I just get curious to know how something would taste. That’s how I came to discover mangos! When these are sweet and juicy, they are better than sex! Of course, it’s been a long, LONG time since I’ve had sex, so my view on that could be skewed. I’m not much of a banana fan, but I’ve tried baby bananas and found they are perfect for people like me – just enough without going overboard. more >>
